Monarch was awarded this design and construct project to help AMSA achieve its goal of relocating all Canberra staff into the same building. Carried out across level one at 82 Northbourne Avenue, works included demolition and the new fitout, tailored to AMSA’s exact requirements and colour scheme.

Accommodating around 100 staff the fitout consists of open plan workstations, acoustically insulated meeting pods, secure meeting rooms, individual offices, printing and storage facilities, breakout spaces as well as a fully equipped staff kitchen and lunch room.

Work was undertaken on a live site which required extra care and planning so as not to interfere with the rest of the building.
