The much-loved MV Southern Cross has been serving the Canberra community on Lake Burley Griffin for more than 20 years. With a heavily booked sailing schedule, Monarch was engaged to refurbish the vessel with a quick turnaround.

Demolition works included the removal of all ceiling and wall panelling, which was replaced with new timber work. Upgraded internal lighting and new floor coverings were included in the refit.

The result is refreshed lower and upper levels, with a modern and bright colour palette, which will serve the client well for many years to come.
