ADFA UNSW Window Replacement

CLIENT
Australian Defence Force Academy

SUPERINTENDENT
Augility

DURATION
5 months

BUDGET
$0.5 - 1 million

Monarch was engaged to replace all the windows, frames, doors and skylights of a three-storey building at ADFA due to the deterioration of the existing Plasteel frames causing water ingress and distortion.

As the building is positioned in an exposed location, the PVC coating of Plasteel frames had cracked due to UV radiation from the sun, resulting in the steel frame inside allowing water ingress and corrosion.

Monarch’s sub-division, Castle Glazing installed new aluminium frames and performance glazed windows to rectify the issues and give the building a much needed upgrade.
