Monarch was engaged to remove an existing barrel vaulted roof that was extensively leaking during wet weather conditions and replace it with a new monoslope roof including guttering, downpipes, flashings and cappings.

New structural steel was installed to support the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire services that were originally supported by the existing barrel vaulted roof. These services were either removed, set aside and reinstalled, or replaced with new.

Multiple scaffolding systems were used to provide access to the roof including a birdcage scaffold built through the existing roof and a tube and fitting scaffold to secure a temporary tarp to assist with weather proofing the lower levels of the occupied building.
