Monarch was engaged to rectify the retaining wall at the Royal Military College in Duntroon recorded in Australia’s Commonwealth Heritage List. The site’s heritage significance was taken into consideration throughout the construction of the reinforced retaining wall and rectification of the existing embankment erosion.

The works included the construction of a stone pitched and concrete retaining wall and a new spoon drain to direct stormwater to a new pit with Riprap scour protection. Monarch also cleared and regraded the existing spoon drain and reinstated the natural vegetation and existing natural profile of the land surrounding the retaining wall.
