Little National Hotel Roof Rectification

CLIENT
DOMA Group

DURATION
19 weeks

BUDGET
$1 - 2 million

Due to damage caused by a large hailstorm in January 2020, Monarch were engaged to undertake insurance repair works at Little National Hotel.

Monarch were required to completely remove the existing metal roof including flashings, cappings and insulation and replace with new. Careful consideration was taken when removing the existing roof to ensure the building was kept watertight at the end of each day.

The scope of works also included the installation of new box gutters and roof plumbing; removal and re-instatement of the roof safety access system, plant platforms and screens; removal and complete replacement of the PV solar system; and replacement of the outdoor mechanical condenser units, pipework, and indoor fan coil units.

Access was required through hotel rooms and passageway ceilings which were reinstated back to their original condition after works were completed.

The hotel remained fully operational throughout the works which required detailed programming to reduce service disruptions and facilitate noise management.
